Department of Christian Witness (DTC)

Coordinates the evangelism planning of the member churches, organises theological reflection, and supports the bodies it oversees — the National Evangelism Centre, the Protestant Chaplaincy, Christian Youth and the Ecumenical Social Works.

Mission and mandate

  • Coordinate the planning of the member churches' evangelism efforts.
  • Organise theological reflection meetings and related studies, to analyse the spiritual situation and find the right ways of evangelising in Cameroon — and above all within the member churches.
  • Support the different components of the department in their own fields of evangelism.
  • Know the financial needs of each component, and seek the means to help them.
